Enjoy This In The Kitchen Guest Article By MixEats Who Got Ready For The South Beach Seafood Festival With Cibo Wine Bar
Ciao readers! Andrea from @mixeats here to tell you about what Cibo Wine Bar is bringing to this year’s South Beach Seafood Festival. Hit the sand with me on Saturday, October 20 to indulge.
Because who doesn’t love seafood with a touch of traditional Italian cuisine? Let’s dig in!
Chef Massimo Giannattasio
So, I went “In The Kitchen” with Executive Chef Massimo Giannattasio, the mastermind behind Cibo’s mouth-watering cuisine!
First, I got to ask him a few questions about his participation in the festival and learned about his journey in the culinary world.
The kitchen has always been Chef Massimo’s passion. Born and raised in Salerno, Italy, Massimo’s culinary journey started at a young age in his family kitchen. While helping his mother prepare traditional Italian meals with simple fresh ingredients, he fell in love with cooking.
As I enjoyed a freshly prepared Lobster pasta, Chef Massimo continued to tell me about his path. His years of travelling included working in restaurants in Northern Italy and throughout Europe. Before moving to America, he worked at a one star Michelin restaurant in Rimini.
When I asked him about his favorite seafood dish to prepare, Massimo responded: “I like to cook with fish that are very salty, those that Americans call fishy.”
Don’t forget to try Chef’s Shrimp Fra Diavolo on October 20th – a must-have festival dish!
Cibo Wine Bar + South Beach Seafood Week
As soon as you walk into Cibo, you’re charmed by its distinctive ambiance of relaxed, authentic luxury.
As a result, Cibo offers a true taste of Italian cooking with two locations in South Florida. You can enjoy them in Coral Gables and Miami Beach. Both locations include huge open kitchens that make things even more interesting. Get ready for an experience because it’s truly dinner and a show!
They bring their authentic charm right to the sand every October for guests of the South Beach Seafood Festival.
At Cibo, you can also indulge in a wide variety of wine. Their soaring two-story, award-winning wine room is something to behold. It is equipped with a harnessed wine angel who retrieves your favorite bottle!
I hope you catch Cibo Wine Bar at this year’s #SobeSeafood Fest!
